Despite the bumpy road he had to take en route to where he is right now, it was still Novak Djokovic who gets to bring home the title.

The Serbian, who has won the ATP World Tour Finals title in the last three stagings, fended off Roger Federer for his fourth straight title over a 6-3 6-4 win in 80 minutes at the O2 Arena in London.

“I am enjoying every moment on the court.  I cherish every moment after dreaming of it as a kid.” Said Djokovic.

As of 10 titles so far this year isn’t enough, he added his 11th which includes three Grand Slams.

Novak’s victory surpasses the 1987 achievement of Ivan Lendl when he won his third Tour Finals in New York.

Federer, who first booked a seat in the finale said, “It’s never fun to be on the not winning side, but it’s bette than not playing at all like last year. “

He also described this week as great, and that there were some crazy points in their match. But at the end of the day, for Roger, Novak still deserved the title and the victory.

Djokovic was within two sets of winning the calendar Grand Slam of this year, but he lost to Stan Wawrinka in the French Open final.

His main target is to complete his set of majors in 2016.

He considers Roland Garros as one of the biggest challenges he hurdles every year. With the victory, he continues to rise through the ranks of the all-time greats in Tennis.

Novak is now four Grand Slam titles behind Rafael Nadal, and seven behind Roger Federer.

“I’m convinced with this dedication to the sport. I can achieve more but can’t tell how much. I don’t have a sense of urgency as I don’t chase anything. I just try to be in the moment and see where it takes me.”
